Kitchen, garage, garden, living room, loft, the shed at the bottom of the yard — put things where they live. Instead of scrolling one endless list, you filter to a single room and see exactly what's in it.
That structure makes the app feel like a map of your home rather than a spreadsheet. Tapping into Garage shows the power tools, the bikes, and the spare paint; tapping into Kitchen shows the appliances and their warranties. When you add something new, you pick its room once and it's filed for good. It pairs naturally with your full home inventory, where every item can also carry photos, receipts, and warranty dates.
Type a word, find the thing
Rooms tell you where things live; search tells you where one specific thing is right now. Dewllio searches across every field you save on an item — its name, brand, model number, serial number, the retailer you bought it from, and any free-text notes. Start typing and the list narrows as you go.
That means you don't have to remember exactly what you called something. A half-remembered brand, the last few digits of a serial number, or a phrase you jotted in the notes will all surface the right item. Looking for the cordless drill? Type "drill." Trying to find that thing you bought from a particular store? Search the retailer's name. It's the fast path from "where did I put that?" to holding it in your hand.
