Warranties

Never miss a warranty again

Log a purchase once and Dewllio nudges you before coverage ends — while a claim is still worth making.

Quick answer

When you add an item, set its purchase date and coverage length (for example, 12 or 24 months). Dewllio calculates the expiry date and sends you a reminder before coverage ends, so you have time to make a claim. You can attach the warranty document to the item, too.

Set it once

How Dewllio calculates the expiry date

Warranties are easy to forget because the clock starts the day you buy and then hides in a drawer. Dewllio does the arithmetic for you. When you add an item to your home inventory, you enter the purchase date and the coverage length — say 12 months on a blender or 24 months on a laptop — and Dewllio works out exactly when protection runs out.

From then on the item carries its own expiry date. No spreadsheet, no mental math, no digging through emails to figure out whether that appliance is still covered. Open the item and the answer is right there.

Nudged in time

A reminder before it lapses

A warranty you find out about the week after it expired is worthless. Dewllio sends a reminder ahead of the expiry date, with enough lead time that a claim is still worth making — room to locate the receipt, contact the manufacturer, and book a repair or replacement before coverage disappears.

The reminder arrives as a notification on your phone, so it reaches you whether or not you happen to open the app. If something started acting up, that heads-up is often the nudge that turns a shrug into a free fix.

Proof on hand

Keep the warranty document attached

A reminder is only half the job — a claim usually needs proof. Dewllio lets you attach the warranty certificate and the receipt straight to the item, so the paperwork lives next to the reminder instead of in a shoebox. When the day comes to make a claim, everything you need is one tap away.

Worth the minute

Why it pays for itself

A single warranty claim you would otherwise have missed — a repair on an appliance, a replacement for a device that failed early — can be worth far more than the minute it took to log the item. Dewllio turns coverage you already paid for into money you actually get back.

Warranties also pair naturally with recurring maintenance: keeping a product serviced is often what keeps its warranty valid in the first place. Track both in one place and your belongings stay covered and cared for.

Good to know: add the item as soon as you buy it, while the receipt is fresh and the box is still open. A few seconds then is what makes the reminder land at exactly the right moment months later.
