Private & secure

Your home, kept private

Your records are yours alone — never sold, never used for ads.

Quick answer

Yes. Your records are protected with per-account access controls, private file storage, and short-lived signed links. Dewllio never sells your data or uses it for advertising — and you can export or permanently delete everything at any time.

Access controls

Only your account can see your home

Dewllio is built so that your inventory belongs to your account and nobody else's. Every item, warranty, receipt, document, and maintenance reminder is tied to your user, and access is enforced at the database level — not just hidden in the app. In practice that means another person's request can't read or change your records, even if they're using Dewllio too.

You sign in with your own credentials, and Dewllio never stores your raw password — authentication is handled by a dedicated, industry-standard system that keeps your session on your device. There's no shared feed, no public profile, and no way for other users to stumble onto what you own.

Private storage

Receipts and documents stay locked down

The photos, receipts, and warranty documents you save live in private storage — not a public folder with a guessable web address. When the app needs to show you a file, it requests a short-lived signed link that works only for you and expires shortly after. Old links stop working, so a URL that leaks can't be reused to reach your files later.

That's the difference between "private by default" and "hidden but reachable." Your sensitive paperwork — serial numbers, purchase records, home documents — isn't sitting behind a link anyone could open.

No ads, never sold

Your inventory isn't the product

Dewllio makes money from an optional Premium subscription, not from your data. We don't sell your inventory, receipts, or notes to anyone, and we don't use them to build an advertising profile or serve you ads. There are no trackers quietly turning what you own into a marketing signal.

This is a deliberate choice, not a loophole. A home inventory is a map of your life — what you own, what it cost, where it lives — and that map should work for you alone. If you're weighing free versus Premium, you can compare everything on the features overview; either way, the privacy model is the same.

You stay in control

Export it, or erase it — your call

Privacy isn't just about who's kept out; it's about you being able to leave on your own terms. Dewllio lets you export your inventory to CSV whenever you want, so your data is never trapped inside the app — take it to a spreadsheet, a backup, or your insurer.

And when you're done, you're done. From delete account you can permanently remove everything — your records, the files in storage, and your account itself — through a verified, server-side process rather than a soft "hide." For the full picture of what we collect and how we handle it, read the Privacy Policy.

In short: access is scoped to your account, files are private with expiring links, nothing is sold or advertised against, and you can export or delete it all at any time.
